Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor, the Licensed Unarmed Security Guard/Officer  will be responsible for the following, to include but not limited to: 

  • Proactively and promptly ensuring safety and security of the Nashville facility, staff and patients to prevent or reduce damage or harm
  • Makes hourly rounds throughout the facility to ensure building and grounds security; immediately reports any breaches or potential risk
  • Actively engages with guest that appear suspicious and/or warrants discussion to resolve disputes or manage other potential risk
  • Lock all patient/employee entrances/exits at appropriate times or when necessary for safety and security purposes
  • Report any cars left in the parking lot after normal business hours to the Nashville Metropolitan Police Department
  • Follows proper procedure for opening the facility and reporting any security breaches or potential risk

Behavioral Health Referral Specialist (Nashville, TN)

Reporting to the Behavioral Health Manager, the Behavioral Health Referral Specialist (BHRS) will be responsible for the following to include, but not limited to:

  • Schedule behavioral health appointments for patients
  • Processing behavioral health patient referrals in a timely manner and responding to general information inquiries
  • Answering a high volume of incoming telephone calls from patients, insurance companies and other healthcare providers;
  • Ensuring ICD-9 and CPT codes are accurate on behavioral health referral authorizations prior to submitting them to the insurance company;
  • Responding to information requests from various parties;
  • Ensuring behavioral health referral requests are processed and documented completely and in a timely manner;

Revenue Cycle Manager (Nashville, TN)

  • Oversee operations of the Revenue Cycle Department and its employees, set goals, objectives and design a framework for these to be accomplished
  • Ensure staff is meeting performance expectations, complying with departmental organizational policies and procedures and correcting poor performance when needed
  • Monitors the billing and collection electronic charge entry processes to ensure days in accounts receivable comply with MW financial policy standards
  • Analyzes and reports on revenue cycle management, such as: identifying and minimizing preventable denials and write-offs, monitoring systems workflow, evaluating trends for the organization, individual programs and physicians.
  • Evaluates, monitors and continuously improves the effectiveness of the billing and collection work flow.

Registered Dietitian (Nashville, TN)

Reporting to the Chief Medical Officer, the Registered Dietician (RD) will be responsible for educating, monitoring and advising MWCHC patients and helping improve their quality of life through healthy eating habits at our Nashville, Smyrna and Clarksville, TN clinical sites.   • Collaborate with providers to identify and connect with patients in need of nutrition counseling.
  • Assess the dietary and health needs of patients, establishes treatment plans, and communicates with patients regarding program compliance and its importance in disease prevention.
  • Meet directly with patients to identify dietary/nutritional educational needs; provide individual instruction, utilize informational handouts/booklets, or refer to community resources as needed.
  • Identify ways to improve dietary/nutritional care of patients, and make recommendations to the Medical Director and P&T Committee;
  • Participate in various patient program committees;
  • Performs research and recommends ways to expand and improve nutrition programs offered to MWCHC patients
  • Participates in quality improvement of the program in conjunction with other services offered.

The Registered Dietician must be patient focused with the ability to relay and discuss dietary and nutrition information with diverse patients in a sensitive and knowledgeable manner. Additionally, possess excellent analytical, organizational and interpersonal skills with an ability to work efficiently and effectively with all levels of the organization.

Bachelors degree from an approved education program accredited by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND) and licensed in the state of Tennessee is required. Senior Billing Specialist (Nashville, TN)

  • Monitor the billing and collection processes to ensure days in accounts receivable are in compliance with MW financial policy standards
  • Perform accounts receivable and revenue analysis

 Participating in planning, scheduling and executing computer equipment installations, upgrades and replacement projects; installs images on desktops, tablets and laptops, and supports multi-function printing devices.

 Providing on-site customer support services as needed by responding to problem calls either in person or via telephone in coordination with Help Desk to determine the cause of the problem and work toward resolution.

 Utilizing the IT support request system to track, prioritize and document requests.

Patient Business Representative II (Nashville, TN)

Reporting to the Operations Manager, the Patient Business Representative (PBR) will be responsible for the day to day operations of the dental suite which includes; but is not limited to the following operational functions: 

  • Financial collections,

  • Working error reports, and

The PBR must have 1-2 years of dental office experience.  Possess the ability to work efficiently and effectively with all levels of the organization, particularly dental patients from varying economic backgrounds.  The individual must have documented evidence of the ability to advise, consult and counsel with dental patients concerning account balances.  Experience in cash handling, Medicare, TennCare and third party billing is required. Reporting to the Registered Nurse Site Coordinator, the Registered/Certified Medical Assistant (MA) will be responsible for the following to include, but not limited to:

  • Assist physicians with examinations and procedures as needed
  • Assist patients in understanding provider orders
  • Monitor and document vital signs including temperature, blood pressure, pulse, and respirations, as well as chief complaints, medical history, and allergy history for patients
  • Administer allowed injections/shots to patients
  • Process patient referrals in a timely manner
  • Adhere to Universal Precautions and OSHA Guidelines

The MA is expected to use initiative, creativity, integrity, and communication skills in providing patient care. Excellent organizational skills with acute attention to detail are required. One year of previous experience as a Medical Assistant in a Healthcare facility is required.

  • Assists the Clinical Nurse Manager with developing a written philosophy and objectives for the Nursing Department which are compatible with the mission of the health care facility; communicates and interprets the philosophy and objectives and processes of implementation to administration, the medical staff, and others, as appropriate
  • Along with the Clinical Nurse Manager, develop Nursing Services Policies and Procedures, which focus on the care of patients and favor good, safe, quality care
  • Participate in the procedures for hiring, supervising, training and evaluating the clinical support staff and ensuring staff is meeting performance expectations, complying with departmental and organizational policies and procedures and correcting poor performance when needed
  • Responsible for creating the clinical support staff schedule that promotes the maximum utilization of all clinical support staff

  • Work with clinical support staff in conjunction with providers, operations staff and other patient care disciplines, to develop programs for total patient care

  • Participate in CQI and Joint Commission committees to ensure compliance with clinical policies and procedures and standards

Education and Experience:

  • Graduation from an accredited RN program
