S.A.L.T (Seasoned Adults Living Triumphantly) Class

Stress Awareness Month is observed every April to highlight the causes and cures for stress, encouraging open conversations about its impact on mental and physical health, and promoting healthy coping strategies like exercise, mindfulness, and seeking support.

  • Inflammation: Stress increases inflammation, exacerbating conditions like arthritis, diabetes, heart disease, and dementia.
  • Weakened Immunity: Chronic stress compromises the immune system, making seniors more susceptible to infections and reducing vaccine effectiveness.
