Ida Michele Williams, MD
Chief Medical Officer
Dr. Williams is both a Pediatrician and our Chief Medical Officer. In addition to her responsibilities for clinical oversight, Dr. Williams continues to see patients in our clinics as she has since 2002. When she isn’t caring for patients and overseeing clinical operations, Dr. Williams enjoys spending time with her two children and husband along with gardening, coaching basketball and cooking.
Phillip Bourne, MD
Dr. Bourne is an obstetrician-gynecologist in Nashville, Tennessee and is affiliated with multiple hospitals in the area, including Centennial Medical Center and Nashville General Hospital at Meharry. He received his medical degree from Meharry Medical College and has been in practice for more than 40 years. Dr. Bourne sees patients at Matthew Walker Comprehensive Health Center as part of our partnership with Meharry Medical College.
Lawrence E. Burns, DPM
Dr. Lawrence E Burns is a Podiatry Specialist. He graduated with honors in 1978. Dr. Burns has more than 40 years of diverse experience in PODIATRY.
Shaniqua Clark, FNP
Shaniqua is a family nurse practitioner who works with patients in our Nashville clinic. She completed her Master of Science degree in nursing (MSN) at Tennessee State University and has been in practice for over 5 years.
Anthony Disher, MD
Dr. Disher is a Radiologist with more than 30 years of diverse experience, especially in diagnostic radiology. He graduated with honors from Meharry Medical College School of Medicine in 1984. Dr. Disher affiliates with many hospitals including Metro Nashville General Hospital, Vanderbilt University Hospital, and cooperates with other doctors and specialists in many medical groups including Meharry Medical College, Matthew Walker Comprehensive Health Center, Inc.
Elosha Eiland, MD
Dr. Eiland is an Obstetrician/Gynecologist. She received her medical degree from the University of Mississippi, School of Medicine in 2010. Dr. Eiland enjoys spending time with family, reading, shopping and traveling. She enjoys being active with her church and Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc.
Laura Ashley Franklin-Woods, MD
Dr. Franklin-Woods is a Pediatrician with 3 years of experience. She earned her Bachelor of Science degree in biology, at the University of Memphis and her Medical Doctorate from Meharry Medical College. Dr. Franklin completed her Pediatric residency at the Children’s Hospital of Georgia, in Augusta, Georgia. She is a Nashville native, having graduated from Martin Luther King Jr, Magnet High School. She is excited to move back home and care for the children of Nashville. She enjoys traveling and spending time as a newlywed with her husband.
Hubert Gaskin III, MD
Dr. Gaskin graduated from the Meharry Medical College School of Medicine and has been practicing internal medicine for more than 30 years. Dr. Gaskin is affiliated with Nashville General Hospital at Meharry, Saint Thomas Midtown Hospital, TriStar Centennial Medical Center and Vanderbilt University Medical Center. In his free time, Dr. Gaskin enjoys golfing, reading, traveling and watching movies.
Centeria Denise Green, FNP
Ms. Green is a Family Nurse Practitioner who is a graduate of Alcorn State University with 5 years of nursing and 2 yeas of Nurse Practitioner experience. Ms Green enjoys 4-wheeler riding, traveling and spending time with family and Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. and DIY Pinterest.
Tammy Greenhill, FNP
Tammy is a family nurse practitioner who received her Master of Science degree in nursing from Austin Peay State University in 2011. Tammy has seven years of working as Nurse Practitioner in the Dover, and Clarksville community. She came to Matthew Walker Health Center’s Clarksville clinic in 2017. Prior to becoming a family nurse practitioner, Tammy was a registered nurse in the hospital for 5 years. In her free time, Tammy enjoys traveling and spending time with her daughter and jogging.
Onika L. Richmond-Hibbler, FNP
Ms. Hibbler is a Family Nurse Practitioner who is a graduate of Tennessee State University with 1 year Family Practitioner experience and 4 years Nursing experience. Ms. Hibbler enjoys shopping, cooking and volunteering at her church- Mount Zion Baptist Church and spending time with family.
Ashley Hicks, MD
Dr. Hicks specializes in Family Medicine at our Nashville clinic. Shondell Hickson, DNP, APN, ACNS-BC, FNP-BC
Dr. Hickson cares for patients in the Matthew Walker Clarksville clinic. She received her Doctorate degree in nursing from Murray State University and is also an associate professor in the nursing department at Austin Peay State University. Dr. Hickson has been in practice for over 8 years and focuses on chronic illness management in Diabetes and Hypertension.
Pamela Jones, FNP
Pamela has been in nursing for 10 years, initially as a public health nurse. She completed her Master of Science degree in nursing (MSN) at Tennessee State University in 2013. Pamela is also a certified lactation counselor.
Keith Junior, MD
Dr. Junior is an internist in Nashville, Tennessee and is affiliated with TriStar Centennial Medical Center and St Thomas Midtown Hospital and Centennial Medical Center. He received his medical degree from Meharry Medical College and has been in practice for more than 20 years.
Janet Klingensmith, DNP
Janet is a family nurse practitioner who cares for patients in our Clarksville clinic. She has been in the nursing field for more than 7 years and completed her Doctorate of Nursing Practice (DNP) degree at Wilkes University in 2017. In her free time, Janet enjoys traveling, spending time with her family, and reading.
Zoey Frances Lowery, FNP
Ms. Lowery is a Family Nurse Practitioner who graduated from “The Great” Tennessee State University. Ms. Lowery has 9 years experience as a Registered Nrse and 6 months as a Family Nurse Practitioner. She loves to travel, shop, spend time with her nephew and reading the bible. Ms. Lowery is a member of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority Inc./Chi Eta Phi Nursing Sorority.
Damaris Olagundoye, MD
Dr. Olagundoye (Dr. O) is an obstetrician-gynecologist in our Smyrna clinic who completed her medical degree and residency at Meharry Medical College. Dr. O has been practicing for more than 12 years and has been practicing at Matthew Walker Comprehensive Health Center for over 7 years. She enjoys working at Matthew Walker because it allows her a unique opportunity to serve a community that is disproportionately affected by health disparities. In this role, she sees that we can truly make a difference, one patient at a time. Dr. O is fluent in both English and Spanish.
Vernita Tucker, MD
Dr. Tucker is an obstetrics & gynecology doctor who has been practicing medicine for more than 30 years. She is a graduate of the Indiana University School of Medicine and is affiliated with Nashville General Hospital at Meharry, Saint Thomas Midtown Hospital, TriStar Centennial Medical Center and Vanderbilt University Medical Center. Dr. Tucker sees patients at Matthew Walker Comprehensive Health Center as part of our partnership with Meharry Medical College.
Robyn Mays, DDS
In addition to her responsibilities as Matthew Walker’s Dental Director. Dr. Mays is a practicing dentist who sees patients in our Nashville clinic. Dr. Mays is a member of the National Dental Association who enjoys being able to positively impact the lives of others through service inside and outside of the Matthew Walker Dental Clinic. In her leisure time, Dr. Mays likes staying physically active, spending time outside, music and spending time with her husband and two children.
Sophia Evans, RDH, MS
Sophia is a Registered Dental Hygienist who provides care at the Nashville and Clarksville clinics. Sophia thoroughly enjoys providing care and educating patients on the importance of good oral hygiene. Sophia finds joy in enabling patients with the necessary skills to ensure overall improvement in oral health.
Laketra Jones, RDH
Laketra is a Registered Dental Hygienist from Nashville, TN. She received her degree in Dental Hygiene from Tennessee State University in 2006. Laketra enjoys using her years of diverse experience in Dentistry to care for patients and help them understand the importance of good oral hygiene. In her spare time she can be found spending time with family and friends and shopping.
Cynthia Jackson, PhD, Psychologist
Dr. Jackson is a practicing psychologist. She received her Ph.D. from Tennessee State University in 2004. She sees patients at our Matthew Walker Comprehensive Health Centers in Nashville, Smyrna, and Clarksville. In her spare time, she enjoys, spending time with family, traveling, and working on community service projects.
Tawanda Lauderdale-Dickerson, LCSW, LSSW
Ms. Lauderdale-Dickerson is a Behavioral Health Provider and cares for patients in our Nashville and Smyrna clinics. She received her Master of Social Work degree from Alabama A&M University in 2006. In her spare time she enjoys traveling, live concerts and spending time with her daughter. Tawanda is also a licensed school social worker in the state of Tennessee.
Jennifer Morgan, MTS, LCSW
Ms. Morgan is a Behavioral Health-Licensed Clinical Social Worker who will be providing mental health consultations and counseling. She is a graduate of Kent State University, Vanderbilt Divinity School, University of Tennessee College of Social Work. Ms. Morgan completed her residency at Vanderbilt Student Counseling Center, Mending Hearts. She comes to us with 10 years of experience.
Kendall Henry, PharmD
Dr. Henry is a pharmacist in Matthew Walker Health Center’s Nashville clinic. Kendall received his Doctorate of pharmacy from Belmont University and has been a practicing pharmacist for 5 years. He came to Matthew Walker Health Center because he loves being in a role where he can give back to the community and actually see patients’ progress. When he is not here Kendall enjoys quiet time in addition to trying new places to eat and watching sports on TV.
Marcia Wiggan-Campbell, PharmD
Dr. Wiggan-Campbell is a pharmacist in our Nashville clinic pharmacy. She has been a pharmacist for more than 19 years and has a special interest in working with diabetic patients and assisting all patients with medication management. When she is not at Matthew Walker Health Center, Marcia like traveling, reading and swimming.
Kellie Carson RD LDN CNSC
Kellie graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Family and Consumer Sciences from Baylor University in 2003. She completed her Dietetics Internship at Vanderbilt University Medical Center in 2004. In her free time, she enjoys reading and spending time with her family.
