Matthew Walker Comprehensive Health Center accepts all major private insurance, TennCare, ACA plans, Medicare and TriCare at all sites. We also have staff available to assist you with understanding the various health insurance options available to you and your family.

 

We are also very proud to offer a Sliding Fee Discount Program. This program allows individuals and families to have access to quality medical, dental and pharmacy services based on their ability to pay.

 

Sliding Scale Information

If you’re uninsured, you may qualify to pay a reduced price for some services and treatments at our health centers.  The exact amount you pay depends on your income and family size.  This is the “Sliding Scale”.

Once you qualify for the Sliding Scale, you can use it for 12 months.  If your income or family size changes during those 12 months, you must let us know.

 

How to qualify for the Sliding Scale

To qualify, you must bring in proof of your family’s income.  You can bring any of these things to show proof:

  • Pay stubs

  • Tax forms *Preferred documentation

  • Letter from your employer

  • Documents showing income from unemployment, SSI, alimony, child support, or other sources

What if I don’t know my income?

If you don’t know your family’s exact income, you can estimate.  But if you don’t bring proof of income back to the health center by the next visit, you will be charged full price.

We accept cash, checks and credit cards. We can also arrange payment plans to fit your budget.

 

 

 

 Health Insurance Enrollment Assistance

If you are looking for a healthcare facility/doctor who accepts insurance plans on the Marketplace like HUMANA AND CIGNA CONNECT, TennCare or COVERKIDS.

 

Look no further! Matthew Walker Comprehensive Health Center accepts them along with many other health insurance plans from your employer.

 

Applying for the Affordable Care Act (Health Insurance Marketplace), TennCare or C.H.I.P (Children’s Health Insurance Plan)?  Do You have questions, we have answers!  All eligible individuals are required to obtain health insurance. Insurance plans will cover doctor visits, hospitalization, emergency room care, prescriptions, maternity care, and more.

 

FREE information & enrollment assistance is available to help you choose the plan that works best for you! Only United States Citizens and Documented Immigrants are eligible to receive health insurance. Undocumented immigrants who are pregnant may be eligible to receive Cover Kids during her pregnancy.
